Long Haul Suitcases
Choosing a suitcase for a 23kg allowance
Start with the baggage allowance on your booking, then compare the dimensions, capacity and empty weight of the cases you are considering. A bigger case does not give you a higher airline weight limit, so weigh it once packed and check your airline's current policy before travel.
For general large-suitcase choice, including shared packing and longer stays, explore Large Suitcases. Individual product pages show the details for the exact case.
Long Haul Suitcases FAQs
Does a 23kg baggage allowance include the suitcase?
Yes. The allowance covers the empty case and everything packed inside it. Check the product's empty weight, then weigh the case once packed.
What size suitcase is suitable for a 23kg allowance?
There is no one suitcase size for a 23kg allowance. Compare the empty weight, capacity and external dimensions of the exact case, then check your airline's current baggage rules.
Is the checked-baggage allowance the same with every airline?
No. Checked-baggage allowances, size limits and weight limits vary by airline and fare. Check the baggage terms on your booking before travel.
