Your free bag needs to fit beneath the seat. A compact backpack, handbag or flight bag can work well, but measure it when packed, rather than relying on the label alone. The 10kg allowance includes the bag itself and everything inside it.

Checked luggage for longer trips
If you are travelling for longer or sharing the packing, you can add checked baggage in 10, 20, 26 or 32kg options. A medium suitcase is a practical choice for a week away, while a large suitcase gives you more room for a longer stay. Your suitcase’s own weight counts towards your allowance, so leave a little margin for the journey home.
