After much deliberation I went with a large and medium case, and they are perfect. For storage the medium fits inside the large, handy. I decided to keep that idea with my first trip, I packed the medium case and put it inside the large one so I just had one case to take to the airport. Easy to manage, for me the hight of the large case is perfect no need to use the pull up handle, just guided the case using the fixed strap handle. Smooth, easy to manage and it weighed 20kg so perfect for my weight restrictions. Of course I bought lots of things whilst away so having two cases was perfect. I had no problems managing both cases on my own plus a handbag and rucksack. Both cases move with such ease, it was no bother getting them in lifts, off the carousel, in the taxi.
The cases are well made, the lining is good quality, they are lightweight but durable. On the return journey the large case weighed 19kg and the medium 12kg but I had so much more room you could quite easily go up to max weight restrictions of 23kg in the large case, I’m guessing the medium case full would be able 18-20kg."
